The core of a successful economy
Rodrigues, José C.Economic behavior is counter-intuitive. People believe that regular economic activity fosters inequality, but it does not have to be that way. People believe that economic crises are unavoidable, but that is not so. People believe that bank insolvencies must not be allowed, but these events can easily be handled by the economy. People believe that unemployment is an acceptable disease in a healthy economy, but that is not true as well. People believe that governments are the ones to blame when things go wrong, but they are not. This work is about bringing awareness to what happens in any economy, why it happens, and how economic behavior is set up to foster overall welfare.
